When I say be a dreamer I’m not just talking about having goals and dreams for the future.  What I’m saying is you should actually dream about your projects, and your goals.  Try to attach emotion what to your projects and goals.  Any kind of good emotion works, and like I’ve said before, even a bad emotion such as one of an ex-lover works.  The reason for this is because once you have emotions attached to your projects you become much more motivated to continue them.  The project becomes much more than a task.

Many mornings I wake up with one of my bigger projects on my mind.  I have a clear vision of this project and I have emotions behind it.  Even though the project is a big one, I still feel the same about my smaller projects.  I’m convinced that having those dreams is what really moves those projects along.

Dreams are probably one of the most important, but overlooked aspects of being successful or running a successful business.  Think about all the successful companies out there and what dreams the owners had.

The bottom line is unless you’re a very good lucid dreamer, you can’t dream about what you want, but if you have emotion in what you’re doing then you’ll be much more likely to dream about it.

Close those eyes and dream.
